Good Morning!

Bach - Allegro A moll
We welcome you here this today as a virtual congregation on Mothering Sunday. We feel blessed to have had as much interest and as many expressions of good will from around the world in response to last week's offering. We have tried to keep the service simple and comprehensible but still, recognizably, the service which we know from our Sundays at All Saints'. Many thanks to those who've beamed in their prayers, and many thanks to the small subsets of our congregation (Light at Lunchtime, the All Saints' Young Adults) who are preserving their bonds on WhatsApp and over the telephone. You're doing exactly what you're supposed to do.
We will keep doing this until the crisis abates. We look forward to being able to gather again in person.
If you have little people at home please check out the link for our virtual Sunday School which you will find below and via our website. We'll try to do something like this every Sunday until the wolf is away from the door.
Blessings to all our sister churches here in Rome and around the world who are making similar creative adaptations in their offerings to their flocks, their neighbourhoods and the world.
We look forward to seeing all the All Saints' congregation in person again. Real soon.

The Gathering
With respect to our offering this morning: As you might imagine, churches such as ours in Italy are highly dependent on revenue from concerts and other rentals of space which are impossible at the present moment. These are uncertain times for us and we would be grateful for your generosity at this moment in our history. If you have the ability and willingness to help sustain us during this time, please use the link below to donate.

Parents: On the page for children please note the essay "Coronavirus, Anxiety, Children and the Church" which provides some useful reflections on interpreting present circumstances for little people.
Our sister church in Rome, St Paul's Within the Walls, has made provision for some Sunday and midweek prayers to be webcast. Instructions are available via their website.
